SAFE MOVEMENT OF GAS CYLINDERS

When moving even over short distances, do not drag, but roll the cylinder!

To move a gas cylinder, never roll it lying down!

Excessive speed of cylinder rolling may lead to an accident!

When handling gas cylinders, use special shoes with a toe protected by a metal plate!

Use work gloves when rolling cylinders!

This is the common opinion of experts – you should never try to catch or hold a falling cylinder.

Take care of your back while lifting a fallen gas cylinder. Use your leg muscles rather than your back!

Use special gas cylinder containers for loading cylinders on freight vehicles! Do not forget to fix the containers with a container strap!

Never lift the cylinder by the cap or by the valve!

Damp wet cylinders can be slippery; therefore, you should be more careful when handling!
