Technical gases for fertilizer production

In the production of mineral fertilizers, technical gases are key reagents and auxiliary media that ensure a stable and safe technological process.

ELME MESSER GAAS supplies high-purity gases and mixtures adapted to specific fertilizer production technologies, provides cylinder filling, cryogenic tank delivery and consulting support.

Nitrogen is used to synthesize ammonia by the Haber–Bosch method, which is the basic raw material for nitrogen fertilizers (ammonium nitrate, urea). Hydrogen combines with nitrogen to form ammonia, and carbon dioxide (CO₂) is used in the production of urea and as a cooling medium. Oxygen can be used to intensify combustion in boilers and reactors.

Reliable technical gases are the key to stable operation and increased efficiency of production lines in the chemical and agricultural industries.
